Composer and venue owner Andrew Lloyd Webber and powerhouse producer Michael Harrison have combined forces to create a new production company, titled Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals (LWH Musicals).

The pair, who have collaborated on a plethora of projects including the hit revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will work simultaneously to develop and stage new musicals while also crafting new productions of existing Lloyd Webber musicals.

Lloyd Webber said: "I am excited to announce that I am entering into a production partnership with Michael Harrison. Michael is easily one of the world's leading young theatre producers. Our partnership will build on our relationship which has already produced Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium.

Much like when he named Ken Davenport the head of Really Useful's North American division and then we never heard anything about it again, I wonder what's really going on here.

Interesting, because I thought, maybe he has burned too much money with his recent projects that he wants someone else's money to spend.

Then, I thought of the shows he did with Cameron Mackintosh. It's only 3: Phantom, Cats, and Song and Dance. If he wants new revivals, what are really going to do with Cats (whic was just revived) and Song and Dance (He can do Tell Me on a Sunday) that would make them worth reviving.

So, Andrew really can do any of his other shows with full productions...although, do we really want to see Stephen Ward here?

I wouldn't mind seeing Stephen Ward.

I still think Bernadette should do a limited run of Tell Me On A Sunday the same way Marti Webb did in London a few years ago. Yes she’s no longer age appropriate but who cares? I’d still see it.

LOL. I mean I’d probably pay $1,000 to see it at the first performance no matter where and when but I don’t know why she should do it given her age and the state of her voice, and I’m quite sure she would have no interest doing it. I think she’d be more likely to do another Sondheim again (eg Sunday), especially given she recently said on record that she “wants to sing [sondheim’s music] forever”.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
