I was looking at the Telecharge page for COMPANY and was surprised to see a running time of 2:45.  Perhaps my memory is faulty, but I recall earlier productions being closer to 2-1/2 hours rather than 2-3/4 hours.

For those who've seen this production, do you recall what time you reached the sidewalk following a 7 or 8 p.m. performance?  I need to know whether I can make my return bus at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Thanks!

The day I saw it, there was an emergency stop right after the opening number, which added around 10 minutes to the running time. However, without the stop, it would easily have been 2:45-2:50 running time. I can't give you an exact time, but you should definitely plan with a 2:45 running time in mind, +/- a couple minutes based on what time the performance actually starts.

When I saw Company it was 8pm curtain and I was on the sidewalk at 11pm. I know 3 hours seems long but it started 7-8mins after 8pm and we sat in right orchestra so it took a while to exit. If you sit in left orchestra, you'll be right next to the exit.

I saw it last Wednesday and was on the sidewalk at 10:55. So I would definitely plan on being in the theatre for 3 hours (they've slowed a lot of the tempos down in this production, hence the longer run time)

Looking at the thread title, I assumed "Time You Hit the Sidewalk Following" was the title of a play that might be at, like, Soho Rep.

I was just at yesterday’s 3 PM matinee, and the 2 hours & 45 minute run time is accurate. The cast began bows at 5:46. I only know that because I was on a time crunch to make it to Six’s 6 PM performance directly after. However, the bows are pretty quick. By the time I left my seat and was almost out the door, they were already done with them.

I went to a 7:00 PM performance of Company. Looking at my camera roll, I took a picture of the theatre outside after at 9:54.

My bus departs promptly at 10 pm, with the next and last one for the night at midnight. So it appears that attending a 7 pm show would be problematic. Better to go to an 8 pm show and wait one hour than miss the bus by a couple of minutes and wait two hours.

Thanks, all.
