Not sure if I missed a thread but has anyone seen the show?  I have tickets in a few weeks and looking forward.  Curious how the show is - and in outdoors?  Any seating suggestions?

Was able to catch this. It’s an unusual but lovely show. Staged on platforms in the reflecting pool outside the Clark museum, Grace McLean is front and center for the duration of the show which is a little over two hours, no intermission. There are only two rows of seats, all along the pool’s edge. While dead center is probably your best view, I was all the way to the side and had no problems with sight lines. So much of the show is carried on McLean’s back. The rest of the cast is all strong, but most sing back-up throughout and maybe feature lightly in one or two other scenes. Micaela Diamond has both of the largest secondary roles, and she quite good as young Tori and even better as an imagined Amelia Earhart. It’s a very thoughtful show about individual drive, the pursuit of excellence, and the adventurous spirit. The staging and location are so specific and so unique that I have trouble imagining the piece in a different context. I don’t know that it’s for everyone; some may find it more cerebral than emotional. But as the first live musical I’ve seen in 17 months, I found it thoughtful, moving, and intriguing.

Thanks Sauja. On my way to see Eleanor @BSC and have been thinking about adding this. I hope I can get a seat!

The site specific location and a beautfful night in Willamstown added to the pure enjoyment of having seen my first live musical in over 18 months.  Kuidos for the staging, the peformances of Grace McLean, Michaela Diamond and Jeanette Bayardelle (ahhh her voice is sumptous)

Some really strong songs, powerful moments - dont know if the show as a whole worked - but I enjoyed it.  If the show does end up errr rowing someplace else - I'd recommend giving Ms Bayardelle and Ms Diamond a bit more to do while also tightging it up.

Kudos to Willamstown for an innovative season and for all of your hard work in this crap year made even crappier by all the rain they had up there
