Funny enough Gigi doesn’t know who LuPone is.

And we got a little more Sherry tonight than we have before. Curious if they’re realizing they have no choice but to show her as the crowd dwindles down since it’s going to get to a point where cutting her out just makes the episodes nonsensical.

Well... those were some ****ed up placements and win. Gigi gets rewarded for being a skinny white twink and doesn't even have the taste level to back it up like Aquaria does...

Oh that’s interesting. I’m loving GiGi immensely more than I ever even liked Aquaria. But I don’t understand how Jan didn’t win tonight - Ru back on that pipe or whatever she’s hiding in her tuck.

I thought Jan would win, but I think she's clearly missing something that the judges want to see. I liked her performance tonight, but, generally speaking, I think she's "meh." Gigi, on the other hand, has "it," and I think her elevated taste level is her biggest strength. For me, tonight's biggest surprise was Crystal. She did better than I expected, and she's a sweetheart, so I hope she sticks around for a while.

I would love to see Jan's face, after she cried like a baby for Brita, and Brita said those negative things about her in her confessional.  I know most of you love Jan, but she really is kinda fake.  She's the type that says all that gumbaya  crap, while sticking a knife in your back.  Jackie, is almost as bad, just not so transparent.

Jan doesn't read as fake to me. I think there's a difference between fake and eager to please. I think she definitely falls into the latter category. And honestly, based on how much she killed that challenge and runway, I'd be disappointed too.

Jan was SO BORING. How did that performance deserve a win? Yes, she can sing and dance, but she isn’t exciting to watch. And she’s a sore loser. Gigi 100% deserved the win.

Thank god Brita is gone.

^ totally agree. She was hitting all her moves but was lacking in personality, kinda blank faced. It just seemed bland.

Also agree.  Jan sang and danced well, but there was nothing that made her performance fun and stand out.  On the other hand, Gigi's  performance was exciting to watch.  (I'm not really a fan.  Hoping for a Heidi win, but it won't happen). I'm curious how during rehearsal, much of the singing was really off key and flat, but during the final product it seemed corrected with the exception of Heidi.  Sherry's Madonna part seemed really tiny compared to the others, hardly any dancing.  I'm just happy to see Brita go.

That was one of the best episodes in years. I thought Jan and Gigi were fantastic. I was hoping for a Jan win.

Thank god Brita is gone and I’m so disappointed she got my favorite Madonna era.

I loathe Jan every bit as much as I loathe Don Rickles, so tonight was a great night for me!

Gigi was AMAZING and deserved her win. She is absolutely NOTHING like Aquaria.

Crystal was very good as well, glad she is finally coming into her own.

The only WTF moment was Heidi in the bottom 2, her performance was excellent and she was at least 3rd or 4th best.

Jackie should've been in the bottom 2 with Brita, her performance was the apitomy of pedestrian.

They clearly put Heidi there because they knew she could oust Mr Rickles.

There was nothing special about her at all. Gigi wiped her off the stage x

Any other queen would have been read for filth for wearing what Gigi wore on the runway. The way this show always favors the skinny white girls for doing the bare minimum gets so annoying. I like Gigi a lot but tonight was just not her night. Her other wins? Yes. She's been great. 

 

I think part of it is editing out Sherry. I feel like the original edit was Gigi vs Sherry in terms of wins. So giving this night to Jan wouldn't have furthered any story line. But with Sherrie getting 86'd it just feels off/unbalanced.

Bollocks!

She picked a look no one else would've picked and executed it perfectly.

They praised all the great looks equally.

Gigi gave the best performance and her runway was on point so she won...end of.

Was it the best look...no, probably Jackie and Jan had the best looks. But neither of their performances were as good as Gigi's. Jackie should've been in the bottom 2, her look saved her from that fate.

Gigi performed strong, determined, Papa Don't Preach Madonna via herself.

There was very little spunky, obnoxious, precocious early Madonna in what Jan did, she simply copied elements of her choreography and thought she could win because she can sing...just.

Newsflash...early Madonna couldn't sing for **** so why she thought singing well would win it for her is beyond me.

Singing well is NOT what Madonna is about!

I agree that Jan and Jackie had the best runway showings, but Gigi’s was a close third even just for the detail of those nails. She won based on the performance.

Heidi should definitely not have been in the bottom, but at least we got that fantastic lip sync out of it. I hope she makes it far. She’s a sure bet for Miss Congeniality.

What do any of you think about the Celebrity RuPaul running right after the current season's episode?  Then Untucked at 11:00.  I know it is only for four weeks  I would have rather it aired after the finale.  I mean, I enjoy the show.  But not 3 and a half hours of it in one night.

Also did anyone else notice at times, Brita didn't seem to know the words to Burning Up?  Years ago, a drag queen friend told me what queens do, when they forget the words while performing.   Something like saying certain letters or vowels.  I don't remember exactly.  But as a result of what she told me, I can  really spot a queen that doesn't know the words.

Yes Jada looked amazing! I actually really liked her performance as well.

She's a bit of a silent but deadly competitor that one. I think she could actually end up in the Top 5, if only because Cherry is booted.
