The announcement went out in an email to subscribers this evening but no dates were announced. I imagine it should be up on Popejoy Hall’s website by tomorrow

If anyone is waiting for the Nashville season to be announced, I have the dates of the shows as well as price per tickets for the shows that are being announced. Looking at the pricing, show 1 of the season is priced similarly to Hamilton. I can share that information if anyone is interested in dates or prices per show.

For some of the most popular Pittsburgh shows, by time the Season Ticket holders and pre-sale seats are sold, there’s little to nothing left: perfect example is Dear Evan Hanson coming in late May. I have had my season ticket since last September, and as of this past  Friday April 5th ALL performances are now completely sold out (courtesy of a badly thought through pre-sale) with only the opportunity to win lottery seats. Several other shows have had a great number of the better seats sold, and I’m not paying $25-50 for a nose bleed seat and be forced to pick from the worst seats remaining.

Yeah, good point. Depending on the show, I’ll pay $30 (with a discount) for a balcony seat like I did for A Bronx Tale. That was all I was willing to pay for it and for $30 I had a good time. But for Waitress, I was willing to pay $109 for front row orchestra. By not having season tickets, I don’t have to see shows I’m not interested in (Love Never Dies, RAIN, Cats) or worry that I have a ticket for a night my work travel has me out-of-town. Our next two shows, in fact, are RAIN and Cats. After that we get Hamilton July 30 - August 18. I’m really hoping I can get tickets to see it at least once while it’s here. According to the OKC Broadway rep I spoke to, the Hamilton tickets will be easier for the general public to get here than in other markets. None of this waiting around in a virtual waiting room for 8 or 12 hours before you can buy tickets. They’ll also be available at the box office that day. Hopefully, I’m home that day. Wish me luck!!!

But see in my city, I'm not paying $30 for a nosebleed seat.  You are allowed to pick your seat.  When I won for Waitress last month, I had multiple seats to pick from the first orchestra, second orchestra, and the loge, including front row.  I had mentioned the lottery for School of Rock that I entered a few days ago.  They haven't given the results yet, but I was offered and accepted a free ticket today for opening night, to fill the venue.  If I win the lottery and my choices are great, then I may see it again, with a lottery win.

From what I've been able to gather:

No to Come From Away and Spongebob.

Yes to Summer.

Also to the earlier post that said the first show in the season is similarly priced to Hamilton that's got to be Dear Evan Hansen.

(The above were visible in a photo from the official announcement event. Sadly, the dates of Waitress, Bandstand, and Once On This Island were not visible, but I can confirm they'll be rolling out in exactly that order, and from a news article that they will arrive in the May/June time-frame.)
