Rush line standing service Mar 8
2019, 07:07:14 PM
Do they still have those services that stand in rush lines for people who cant do it themselves? I wasnt sure if that was just for Hamilton back in the day. Are rush lines longer in general with spring break this week?

Re your prior post, what is the Boch? Did a theatre change its name?"
Yes—some millionaire named Boch added his name to the Wang and Schubert theaters across the street from each other. The main Broadway series is at Boston Opera Hous

Hmmm.. I just did read the Wikipedia entry and it said it was the bloodiest and most violent of Shakespeare’s plays. Gary itself is a comedy though right?

Will be ushering the Saturday show which has a talkback with the playwright. Looking forward to it—given the casting and set requirements it’s probably one of the few times it will get produced so worth the trek if you can make it.

also wondering if others have read or seen Titus Andronicus before going or if they’re going to have a synopsis in program which helps set the stage.

Ferryman Rush Mar 2

Rushed today (snowy Saturday) and got there around 9:45 am. At least 20 people in front of me but managed to get matinee ticket for orchestra n26, not obstructed view. The play was not really my cup of tea though.

It’s playing in Denver, Boston and Raleigh among other places in the next few months so seems to be doing well in regional productions

Boston also has Miss Saigon left, so could be that as well since Miss Saigon played Providence and Boston already this season."
Oooh, good point. I bet that’s it since the last announcement is on July 1 right after it closes in Boston. Since hello dolly is in August in boston maybe it was too late to include in the Worcester package—are there chan

Hanover Theatre in Worcester, Ma has announced! Beautiful Play that goes wrong Charlie and Chocolate Factory Bandstand American in Paris Plus two more that are Tba which usually means they are still left in Boston’s season so aren’t allowed to announce yet—what’s left in Boston are Dear Evan Hansen, Bronx tale and hello dolly so am guessing it’s among those options
Shows usually don't play Boston and Providence in the same season, since they draw from the same audience. If it plays Boston this time around, it probably won't arrive in Providence until 2020-21 season; a year from the Boston date at the earliest."
What you said is definitely true for Worcester since they get things a season after Boston but I often had the opportunity to choose between seeing things in either Prov

ALICE BY HEART - Rush Updates Feb 15
2019, 08:42:44 PM
Thanks for the heads up on the extension—I was able to get a ticket for April so I’m not dependent on rush. I’ve been checking todaytix rush for several days and tickets are always gone within 10 seconds and on sunday they had no rush at all. If you are a senior, neighborhood local or under 30 and qualify for their rush I’d be surprised if you had to get there much quicker than the 2hrs before that they start selling rush.

Thanks for the review. It seems to have been very successful in regional theater before coming to NYC and I’m thinking of seeing it in Fayetteville, NC to see it in the setting where it takes place.
