Hello. I was wondering if the merch at the New York show was any different than in London. And if the windowcard was printed on a typical card stock or on the lighter paper like in London. As well as the size. Is it a typical 14x22.

Also. Was wondering if anyone has stage doored. How there experience was and who came out

Thanks

Conif

i was there for first night previews and almost all came out for part 2.  I don't know what the london merch was but I heard nyc was the same--the mugs, tshirts, keychains, hoodies etc. They have a playbill for previews but i didn't look at it closely, somehow said it was mostly london info.

At first previews on 3/16 and 3/17, they did not have posters or bookmarks. Most of the London merchandise available at www.cursedchildstore.com is basically the same for the New York production. There are a few newly-designed house shirts and the back of the black and gold show shirt says "Lyric Theatre, New York" on the bottom near the seams. Please note that based on the events at the end of Part 1, new sets of merchandise will be available at the store/stands when house opens for Part 2.

The Cursed Child Store (facing 42nd street) is open during the day, however I am not sure of their specific hours. Patrons and anyone off the street can enter and buy things at the store during their business hours BEFORE the show.

There is a special Broadway Previews Edition of the souvenir program book that features photos from the original West End company, as well as interviews and sections about the renovations at the Lyric Theatre. After the show opens and new production photos are taken, then there will be a new edition of the book available.

A majority of the cast came out after Part 2. Security and theatre staff originally told patrons that cast members do not sign after Part 1 unless it is on a single-show day. If its a two-show day, the will not come out after Part 1, just after Part 2. A majority, if not all, of the cast stage-doored, including the children in the cast. The experience is pleasant so long as fans do not cause a riot, however it will definitely be packed and at least 3-5 people deep. If you are at the front of the barriers, please be wary of people behind you trying to shove Playbills or copies of the script over or near your head.

Here is a list of all of the merchandise prices.  It is a large assortment of items, especially because there are about 5 different sets of everything; one for each house and a show/key art design.  Also, for it being official Harry Potter merchandise, everything is reasonably priced and not made cheaply, as someone who bought a handful of items.

Thanks for the info and prices jacobsnchz14. I’m surprised the magnet is only $5, instead of the usual $10. Magnets are typically my usual show souvenir. When you see as many shows as I do (and I’m sure many on here do as well), price and space to put all this stuff becomes more important. Looking forward to seeing the show next month!

I want to say the majority is from London. My partner collects patches and she asked about a Slytherin one and they said it was being shipped from London ASAP.
