I need to buy tickets to phantom of opera tonight. My husband and I usually like sitting in middle of orchestra around row H for shows but we have never been to this theater or seen this show. My options are Left orchestra Row N on aisle seats and front mezzanine right row A on aisle seats. Which would be best. Want the best view. Can you still see details of actors from he front row mezzanine and is this row N seats obstructed at all? I could get closer on left orchestra but I would be 4 seats in from aisle and I think that may be too far left

Have you made a decision yet? I'm looking at Telecharge right now, and can give you advice. What seat numbers are you looking at, and how much do you want to spend?

Hello!

Having seen Phantom at the Majestic more times than I care to admit, I would highly recommend sitting in the front row of the mezz. I won't say why, but the view is perfect and you will not miss a thing.

I will say I have generally sat more central, rather than to the far sides. Most recently, I took my parents to see this and we sat Row C (2-6) and we still had full view and didn't miss anything.

After 30 years, one would hope they know why?

I know what he's referring to and it's not the chandelier.

Im not sure I like looking down on the set so much is my fear with front row mezzanine. It seems that row N right on center aisle seats would still give me a good elevation and see more details then row a in mezzanine. that is as long as my view to look up isn't obstructed?

I think that the front mezzanine is the best place to see this show from for sure.

can you see their faces and costumes good though from row a front mezzanine. I like to see this and not sure if I would like the birds eye view of looking down on actors?

Yes. You will see costumes and faces.

If you still have the option for front row of the Mezz, I would still recommend this. If memory serves, the overhang for the mezz is Row H or so in the orchestra, so you would be sitting closer than Row N.

Does the bar in the front mezzanine block view at all?

The bar is plenty low enough to see over. I would agree front mezzanine is best. Have a great time.

Front Mezz is my favorite view of this show, and I've also seen it more than most people would consider sane. Front mezz isn't bird's eye at all

I would suggest the orchestra seats only because there is a special effect in Act 2 that isn't as effective from the mezz because you can see it coming.

I also highly recommend the orchestra because the mezzanine feels very removed to me, like watching the show on TV.

Just to throw it out there, I also back the front mezz seats. I think they're the perfect spot to take in the whole show from, and by no means does it feel like a birds' eye view. You're looking a little bit down, but it's not bad at all.

You’ve already made the purchase, so doesn’t matter, but row N is nearing the overhang and acoustically isn’t as good sounding there than the front mezz. But sweet spot are the house seats between row e - j

I agree. The house sit in the mid orch are best. The incline is quite steep so you get an incredible view and you’re still very close and you can still see above the stage.
