I just finished watching the episode and WOW that was just an amazing breakthrough to watch. Susan Egan is a treasure.
I remember when this was first announced but I never got to watch it. Did they really produced a single episode (maybe it was meant to be a special rather than an episode) and stopped and then came back for Disney+ or they produced the whole season and decided not to air any of it after Into the Woods?
I have a feeling it was intended to air on ABC, then was demoted to Disney+. Watching the Into the Woods episode compared to the Disney+ ones is interesting. It seems like when it was going to be a Network show, Kirsten Bell was way more involved where as on the Disney+ episodes she pops in at the beginning to introduce the show and school, then pops in at the performance and that’s it.
