Home page of the chat is all a mess. AGAIN.   It tells me I'm not signed in - so it won't read my preferences correctly and keeps showing me the page from about an hour ago.  NOW it's  on my desktop.

Ridiculous that this keeps happening over and over again.

 

ALSO: when can we get the REFRESH button back on the app for android?


If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

AND AGAIN:

Clearing the cache did work - but this happens A LOT and no matter what computer I'm on - including my phone.

Happens more and more frequently. Also needing to constantly login is still an issue.


A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Happening again - and clearing cache and cookies did nothing.    UGH.

Now I had to sign in again (and again) and it hadn't save my screen preferences.

Now the app on my phone is the same mess - except it won't let me sign in there AT ALL.  Note: it keeps telling me that my password isn't correct, and when I tried your "forgot password" button, it tells me you don't even have my email registered.   Here, on my laptop, all is fine.

IF it matters, I used the app Sat eve around 5:30 pm, and all was fine.  But around 11pm it went wonky.

Why do I have login to these boards EVERY SINGLE DAY!

This is the first time today that I was able to access the chat forums. Told me I wasn't logged on but each time I tried it would just take me back to the main board. This has been going on since 6AM.

I've been finding it to take significantly longer than usual to have a thread simply load and appear over the last few days. I'll select a thread and then it loads for a good period of time before the posts at last appear. Tried this across different devices and WiFi networks—just curious if anyone else is experiencing this. Are the BWW servers super slow/lagging lately?

Right there with ya -- this is happening to me as well; also, on the main Message Board page. In addition, sometimes the page will not load at all - even after 3.5 minutes of waiting. I'm currently experiencing this on Chrome for Android, and have tried all the usual ways of refreshing, releasing cache and memory, everything.

I just bought a new computer. This is the only website that takes minutes for everything to load. When trying to reply to a thread, I have to wait to start typing my message due to all of the ads and pop-ups. And i still have to login in constantly.

Been experiencing this for about two weeks, same parameters. .chrome for android.   No problems with any other site/app.

I don't know about y'all but I love how easy it is for spam accounts to sign up and post links to malware masquerading as prescription free Ambien and Antidepressants. I love that just sit in the off topic board for days with no action. Isn't that a liability for this website that they'd be interested in PREVENTING?

Lately, the mods seem to pick and choose what they delete. Spam ads for Ambien, that's fine. Bashing Beanie again? Immediate delete.

Those spam posts only get deleted shen people report them... which is likely true of any of the deletions.

BWW enough aleady! When are you going to update this site - constantly get unresponsive messages and this site is sooooooooooooo slow all the time. Why and now we have to deal with these pop ups?  LOL Subscribe for what?

Just wanted to post an update that the feedback has been shared with the development team who are looking into the issues you've reported. We don't have a timeline for a fix just yet but rest assured, they are looking into it.

Yes, this site is completely unresponsive on one of my computers (a recent Mac with tons of RAM/space) on Google Chrome. Rather infuriating.

And now there's an incessant popup about using an ad blocker (which I use exclusively because of this site's horribly obstructive ads).

 I totally second this -- it's become a big issue in the past couple of weeks (pop-ups, that is). I edited my original message because I found a way to (seemingly, and at least for now) stop the annoying Auto-Play videos that plague every single page -- but feel there shouldn't be autoplay videos to begin with. BWW is certainly one of the better Broadway-centric websites for many reasons, but the clunky, cluttered interface and user experience really detract from being the best.
