The rush policy for KPOP starts tomorrow and goes till the end of the run. I was wondering if people could report on how long the line is, how many tickets were given out, etc. all the usual rush questions.
It's hard for me to get into the city so I want to be prepared when I rush this show.
I don’t know about rush but I got there at 7pm last night and there were one or two people there for the cancellation line. They got in. I don’t think it was a long wait. Rush might bring out more people though.
I tried the rush yesterday (the Friday matinee) and I honestly don't know how I was able to get in. My friends and I got to the theatre at 2:55 PM and the show was at 3:00 PM. I asked one of the workers if there was still rush and she told us possibly, and told us to wait outside in a line. When we went outside there was only one other guy there, and he said there was about 30-40 people in front of him that got in. About 5 minutes later the lady told us we all were able to get in. Honestly, still don't know how we got in.
The show itself was really cool! It took a little bit to get used to the concept, but once I got into it, it was so cool! It will be the most unique theatre experience I will ever experience. Also, I need a cast recording PRONTO.
I did the rush line for Tuesday 10/17. Got there about 5:45, with 10 people in front of me. They slowly started letting people in about 6:45 and I got in a few minutes after 7, as did 3 people behind me. The show was great, so glad I got to go!
Also there's a ten minute intermission and I strongly suggest wearing something with pockets so you can bring your wallet and buy a drink at the beginning or end or check your phone. I went alone so I stared at the walls for quite some time.
