I'm trying to track down a copy of a photo of the original cast of Rent that was taken around the opening / awards season, but they're in a studio dressed in denim and black. Does anyone remember this a photo at all? I've tried googling but to no avail. Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.
Any of these look like they're it, or from that particular moment that you're looking for?
They're from Idina's fan site (which I used to manage), so if it's any of these, I can help point you in the right direction/get the full-size photo for you.
Sweets, you're providing candid photos. He's looking for a professionally shot in studio portrait of the entire cast. I believe the one I posted is it. It appeared in VANITY FAIR.
Thanks for chiming in ... it's not the one I'm thinking of ... I could have sworn I saw a studio pic of them all in a mixture of denim and black ... maybe I saw it in a doco or something ... or maybe I'm dreaming.
Anyway - thanks for trying everyone, appreciate your efforts!

My bad, "sweets." I took it to mean recording studio, not photo shoot studio, nor did I consider what you posted is "everyone in black and denim."
I just remembered seeing a Bloomingdale's newspaper ad (multiple pages) at BroadwayCon that Fredi Walker had brought in.
They're definitely wearing denim and black; this is the only pic I have readily available, but I have others I took of it, of the full spread, on another drive if you think it's right?
It was under cheap glass and horrible lighting - I tried to get a good photo, I really did. This certainly isn't anything for you to print and frame, but if it's what you're looking for, I hope it helps you continue your search / sleep at night.

lol why? Who made that rule?
I [maybe] helped someone find what they were looking for because I had relevant knowledge to share. It's called being nice. You should try it some time.
Also, you've been up my ass about this for, quite literally, years. Make like Elsa and LET IT GO.
