I agree the first number ,whichI think she wrote, was rather silly and the rhymes were causing me to chuckle, sort of like when were would make up rhymes as kids.
I wonder who is managing her career? Seems like she could have had the potential to take off."
Yes, her songs were live.

While fun, that def won't happen. Idina hasn't even performed it live yet; her first performance of it will be, I assume, when she sings at the Saks Fifth Avenue Frozen 2 window unveiling on November 25, which won
I shuddered the moment that handful of MEN in the audience heckled her and told her to shut up.
And I got chills when the women began cheering for her.
Let me tell you this: It doesn't matter who you are or how famous you are: whether you abuse, rape, or murder someone, you've given up your right to go about your life without inconvenience. Maybe a comedy night that included women wasn't the place for him to go if he wanted a
Broadway Residencies Photography Rules Oct 26
2019, 08:24:44 PM
Such rules will be set by each artist/production so while it's officially too early to know, it's pretty safe to say photography and recording will be discouraged, if not prohibited.
Guess you'll find out when you arrive [and they tell you no photography or recording allowed]!
To those who worry about losing their paper tickets: purchase with a credit/debit card; they can find your order using it. I just did it for Come From Away a couple weeks ago. Bought a ticket for a friend, went down to meet her to give it to her, left the ticket at home! Just went in and told them and they reprinted it in a matter of seconds.
You can also ask all these questions at the box of
last time we were told not to read into it that her and Kristin Chenoweths albums came out in the same week... and now there's Idina and Kristin news in the same day again. can't not read into it this time.
Bad Theater Behavior Aug 17

Today at a "Make Believe" matinee (at which I was the youngest audience member by at least a decade), the presumably sweet elderly woman next to me spent the first 30 mins of the show trying to figure out how to work the hearing assist device she rented (I have no idea how they work either) aka high-pitched feedback, squealing, and buzzing, paired with full-voice conversation with her friend about not knowing how to work it until she finally gave up and then fell asleep. The falling asleep resul
I had no idea! I was stuck here on vacation when Sandy happened and when the buses were back up and running, it's the one thing my friend and I went out and did. It was really funny; I now consider myself lucky to have seen it!
Well, at least trees are a renewable resource and the Playbills can be recycled. Not that that's a perfect situation, but it's better than other consumables used by the industry.
There's been some talk in recent months about Playbills going 100% digital if I recall.
Maybe reach out to 1) Playbill and inquire about whether or not they use recycled materials for their printing (unless someone already knows?) and 2) the Broadway Green Alliance?

My friends and I see Ryann Redmond EVERYWHERE. It's basically a running joke between us at this point. Doesn't matter where we are or how random it is - she will be there.
My most exciting unexpected moment thus far has been ste
I'm curious how you know of her but don't know what she does!
She is indeed a publicist for many actors.
She's also one of Laura Benanti's best friends; I believe that's how she got started in the business? I remember her actively campaigning on social media to get Benanti on the TV show Nashville because they both loved it so much and...it worked? I was just learning who she was, then, though, so maybe she was already a publicist then.
Slave Play Jun 21

This thread has been a ride. I can't stop being bewildered that the writer of a play aka the person who came up with the plot, setting, dialogue, and created characters, and the director who brings that vision to life, have nothing to do with the content of the play.
Wow.
What universe is this?
Mel Brooks at the Lunt! (Rush Tix?) Jun 16

No rush tickets as far as I know; these Lunt shows aren't run by a theatrical team running a Broadway show and each one is treated differently.
For the record, Yanni was on TDF but it's unlikely you'll find discount Mel Brooks tickets.
