Bit late to announce a new show for the fall, but a few dark theatres, such as; Imperial, August Wilson, John Golden, Jacobs and Studio 54? Is the Helen Hayes going to have something? When are renovations due to finish?
John Leguizamo was announced for Studio 54 before Children of a Lesser Dog.
The Hayes is still being renovated.
The CAROUSEL marquee is already up at the Imperial.
Would probably be tight getting something into the Golden since Three Tall Women starts in February - it would probably take a few weeks each for loadout/load-in, and a limited engagement seems like it's usually 14-20 weeks.
But maybe the Jacobs could do a limited-run play or the Wilson could do a short holiday gig, if something is ready to go quick?
I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like The Illusionists came in for another holiday run at then Marquis. They tend to like Nederlander theatres

Too bad ELF is going to MSG and couldn't pop in for a few weeks or another tour for the winter holiday months. Wish something like Love Never Dies could tour in for a few weeks.
Oh thanks, didn't realise that Carousel had got its theatre.
Thie Illusionists is a good suggestion and they don't necessary need to play a big theatre.
Also surprised that Billy Crystal isn't bringing his play 700 Sundays back to the Great White Way, that was a box office smash?
it was rumoured that Sweet Charity and Othello with Daniel Craig were going to come in, in the fall, but guess these have fallen through unfortunately.
As Gerald Schonefeld said in his autobiography 'an empty theatre doesn't make money. wise words'.
