Anyone seen this? Coming to NYC in the tent. Never seen any of their tent shows, but after seeing O in Vegas and watching extensive videos on YouTube about their productions, I'm kind of hooked.

I saw it a few years back and enjoyed it very much.  It's my favourite of the 4 Cirque shows i've seen so far (Kurios, Varekai, Luzia, and Paramour) (and i liked the other ones too, just not quite as much).

I've seen every touring tent show since 2003 and it's of the 3 or 4 I enjoyed the most. It's very well done.

I saw it when it was in LA last year. It was amazing and the music is SO GOOD. I still listen to it every once in a while.

Jose, I sampled the music a while ago when I heard it was coming. Decided to wait until I possibly saw the show to hear it all. I own several of their cds. I am tempted to dwnload it and listen to kt today before going though!

Just got in.

For starters, if you buy the round trip shuttle pass, get there early. We got to the shuttle stop at 124th & 3rd at 7:16. A bus was just leaving so we figured we would get the last bus over at 7:30. We were told that the bus driver said he wasn't coming back for the 7:30 pic-up. So the attendant called her boss. Long story short we had to hail a taxi and take it over. We were instructed to go to box office for credit on the shuttle and cab. After 2 visits to box office we got all of our transportation fees refunded.

The show is fun. We have seen practically all of the acts. In this show it was the smaller acts that were impressive. Great juggler and a guy that did things with a yo yo that were pretty cool. What set this show apart for me was the presentation. VERY impressive. Some cool and multi-functional costumes also. I love the kind of burnt orange lighting they used to give the feel of a wood cabinet. Most of the music is pretty cool also.

There were a number of empty seats. We moved down a few rows after the 25 minute intermission. Merch was decently priced. They had a combo of the program (which is beautiful), the cd and a Cirque carrying bag for 30 bucks. Food and beverage is where they got you. I had a ten dollar bottle of beer. I should have just gotten the five dollar bottle of water.

Do I have to take the shuttle to get there? Or is it a schlep from the subway? I've never really been/explored Randall's Island.

Also, what did you pay ticket wise? Trying to find a cheapish ticket, but it all seems so expensive.

I went on an invite so no price on my ticket. From what I could tell you won't miss much in the cheaper seats and if it is like it was tonight, you may be able to move at intermission. A whole segment of VIP section seats were empty.

We were thinking of walking over the bridge but glad we didn't as there seemed to be some construction and we didn't see a walkway. There is an MTA bus that runs right past the entrance. A lot of people took it. The shuttle is $10.00 for a round trip pass. If you take other transportation you have to pay the toll. Our 8 minute cab ride was $28.00.

I went tonight as well.  I was waiting a long time for the public bus, and decided to walk instead as it was a nice day.  Be warned: do not do that.  There were some sketchy people on the bridge and it was really unclear how to get to the tent once you got off the bridge.  On the way back I waited for the bus, which came pretty frequently.

I quite enjoyed the show as well.   Nothing I can say to add to other's posts.  This is the only other Cirque show I've seen apart from Paramour, and it was miles better imo.

You can bring your own food and bottled drinks, so you can save on their overpriced and not so great food.

EvaLyn, we were in that line across the street from you wishing our shuttles were arriving a s frequently as your buses!

Glad we didn't walk. Especially back. It was dark and sketchy looking.

Didn't know they allowed food and drinks in.
