Watching these clips and reading about this, I had almost forgotten how much I miss this show! So grateful to those who have been posting clips and/or reviews.

I was there last night and have to say it was amazing. Did I pay absolutely more than I should have for this? 100% yes. But it was such a special evening and in my mind totally worth it.

Megan Hilty is such a star. There were so many highlights for her that I started to loose track. "Moving the Line" was absolutely incredible, "Let's Be bad" was outrageous fun, as was "National Pastime".

The choregraphy was great! Everything looked very tight for such a short rehersal time. Loved the full orchestra which sounded phenomenal.

I cannot be as kind to Katherine Mcphee. She looked AMAZING. I mean incredible.  She has a goregous voice, but for 20th Century Fox Mambo she seemed only able either dance or sing, but not both. She flubbed lyrics and seemed totally out of breath. Not that I'd want to be doing that choregraphy 2 years after I finished filming that show, but I think it was too ambituous for her. She sounded fine on the rest of her songs, and "Public Relations" was her best in the show. But for me it was more fuel to the #teamivy/teammegan!

Ann Harada was amazing in her number. I thought it was a nice surprise and a lot of fun! Jeremy Jordan sounded amazing in Cut, Print, Moving On, and I especially happy that Brian D'arcy james got to sing. Also, can we have Debra Messing and Christian Borle host the TONYS???

Overall it was a very special night and I would love Bombshell to have some future life.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your reports and feelings about the concert!

I'm so thrilled for those of you who were able to be there.  Now my fingers are crossed that this finds a way to live on in some form that will give the rest of us the chance to love it, too.

Why does this have to be Megan against Katherine...two beautiful talented girls whose voices are amazing...They are friends and appreciate each others talent..so should we..LOVE THEM BOTH for very different reasons...

Because that was the plot of the show.

Let's also show some love for Donna McKechnie, as Marilyn's mother. She brought such a tender sweetness to the mother's love for Marilyn and her anguish at the mother's mental illness.

As always, it was a privilege to see her on stage.

yes PalJoey I do understand the concept of the show...but the reviewers here talk about them personally not as the characters...that was my point... as characters if we can recall Ivy was not so nice..and who would produce a show with a chorus girl who get fired for being drunk and falling down during a performance...and what girl who gets a lucky break to star in a Broadway show as the lead would depart to go join a off-off broadway show......that's when it jumped the shark for me and lost my interest other than the great singing of both

If my memory is correct, Karen knew that Tom really wanted Ivy in the role once Derek was replaced by him so it was not just leaving on a whim.

I know I'm late on commenting, but this was such a great night. The whole show was so wonderfully done. "The National Pastime" was raunchy, yet thrilling to watch. Ann singing "I Never Met A Wolf Who Didn't Love To Howl" was the best part of the show. She was hilarious and sang it great. Megan's "They Just Keep Moving the Line" was so thrilling and really a great success for her. Donna was beautiful. And Christian and Debra were a great way to open the show. Oh, and I almost forgot - Brian d'Arcy James's rendition of "The Right Regrets" was wonderful. The whole night was great and so wonderfully directed and choreographed.

And if anyone wants it I recorded all of the audio of the show and I'm just working on cutting it so if anyone is interested just PM me.

Did they use the Shadow Marilyns?

I do have to wonder if the role of Marilyn would be able to be performed 8 times a week due to vocal demands.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

He was so cute and sexy and evil. He came out after Debra Messing and Christian Borle's cute opening patter and handed them both their scripts. Lots of fangirls booed, but not me. #TeamEllis

You KNOW he'd demand a cut of the proceeds for thinking up the idea in the first place, charity be damned.

"Wonderful! Now all of you can stop bitching about McPhee! What a great a day this is."

Exactly. Every review said Ms. McPhee was good but Ms. Hilty was the star. I don't think that is a surprise, this is a perfect role for Ms. Hilty and she knocks it out of the park. SMASH got it right in the end with Ms. Hilty being the star of "Bombshell" and winning the Tony. Ms. Hilty is more the Broadway star and Ms. McPhee will try to become pop star and hope her new CD and single will be a hit.

Once I got a ticket, I made plans to fly up from Florida to catch this one-night-only event. So, so much talent onstage. Some of my favorites were new, raunchy choreography for "National Pastime," Will Chase in performance, the delivery by Jeremy Jordan in a song we did not expect to be sung by a male, and the always incredible Megan Hilty. Thanks to everyone for bringing Broadway into our homes for 2 years. To see it live with that luscious orchestra, backup singers and dancers was heaven.

Spotted in the audience: Zaidan, Meron, Shaiman, Wittman, and Bergasse all down front.  Brian Stokes Mitchell as Chairman of Actor's Fund. Casting giant Bernie Telsey.

And last, but not least (perhaps), the extremely disheveled Michael Riedel. With shirttail out and a crumpled jacket, he looks like he just left a Tony award party with an open bar.

This seems like it was so wonderful. Just watched the highlight reel, such high-quality video  makes me even more sad it "wasn't" recorded in its entirety. I loved Donna McKechnie as Gladys (although I wonder what was Bernadette so busy with last night, since she was at the Tony's on Sunday). Brian d'Arcy as Arthur Miller is also terrific (I would have loved for him to record that song for the album, since I've always thought that one sung by Debra and Christian was out of place). I forget how great Ann Harada's voice is! She's terrific. I'm sad they couldn't release a live album, it would have been perfect.

Just watched the clips and they all sounded great - was it just me or were "Let Me Be Your Star" and " Don't Forget Me" sung in a lower key? I don't recall Hilty ever digging that deep.
