Good evening Broadway Board! (Actually, it's very VERY early morning here!)

A question regarding the seating for Pippin?
I am coming to New York in July, and am currently trying to book Pippin tickets for my visit. However, the Telecharge website rather annoyingly won't allow me to select my own seats and has allocated me in the second row - Row A, Center Orchester, 101/102 - will these seats be comfortable, provide a full view and be worth the high ticket price? I am nearly 6ft and my partner is about 5ft 8inches.

Also, has anybody else struggled with getting the "choose your own seats" part of the website to work, and if so, any tips? It won't work on any of my browsers, and my only option is to select the "Best Available" which of course means most expensive. I never had this problem with the old Telecharge website last time!

Thanks y'all!

I think those seats are too close. There is a lot of spectacle to take in.

Are you dealing with the new Telecharge or old one?

On the new one, you can go to to the "schedule and prices" tab and pick the area you want to sit and price range-- maybe that will help you pick a different area.

I sat on the mezzanine and it was a great view.

I agree on the mezzanine -- I was in the front row, a bit to the side, and it was great.

Thanks loliveve - didn't realise that was an option!

Looks like I'll go for Mezzanine front row if everyone thinks that's the best option.

Thanks for your time everyone!

Quick note - I've just manged to find the old telecharge website, which allows for a much more specific seating choice - does anybody know what the further back, much cheaper, tickets in Mezzanine are like? I'm looking at Row J fo $59 a ticket.

I haven't been to the Music Box before, hence all the questions!

I saw the show twice, both from somewhere in the last 5 rows of the mezzanine, and I thought it was a perfect view.

The stage deck is extremely high. You will be looking up and missing some of upstage if you sit in the second row.

Glad I was able to help!

Also, I really don't think there is a bad seat in the mezz for this show; it uses the entire stage, and all can be seen very well. I sat in the back row of the mezz, which didn't feel too far back because the Music Box is a small theatre. Front of the mezz should be an awesome view Pippin seating question.

I don't know if this says anything, but I had house seats through an arrangement with another theater that normally are guaranteed to be in the front ten rows, center. However, for Pippin, our seats were in the front row of the mezzanine. We realized immediately that they were probably better than any seats we would have normally expected. It is such a small theater, so you are still very close to the stage and can see everything.
