I am thinking of purchasing tickets for PQOTD in row B orchestra but am concerned it may be a bit too close given they are not selling them at Premium prices.
Can anyone advise if they think these seats are ok and not too close?
Thanks in advance.

Honestly, go for the balcony or the mezz. This is one of those shows that, no matter where you sit, you can see, hear, and feel everything.

I wouldn't suggest to anyone to sit in the balcony for any show...unless they were looking for less expensive options.

often the first few rows for any show are not premium....MANY folks don't like to sit close.

(I can't give you specific info on this show, haven't seen it.

I was sitting 3rd row center and would have preferred to sit further back - the stage is extremely high.

I just saw the show on Saturday night, and all I can say is WOW!!! I'll be back real soon!!! As for the seating, the stage is high but I was in the 5th row. The first being row AA. B is the third row and you really don't miss anything but one small scene where a few things pass by on the stage but it's in no way integral to the show or story. A few people stood up just to see what was passing but you miss nothing. I liked being close because it made me appreciate the amazing costumes and the story sucked you in. The Palace is HUGE and I feel you don't want to be too far.

So enjoy the show, and please let us know what you thought.

I saw Priscilla opening night and last night of preview. I was in the balcony both nights. First night I sat front row center in the balcony. Had to lean forward to see over the lights.

Second night I was front row on the left hand side of balcony (left side if you are looking at the stage). The seats there were wonderful...loved seeing the whole stage from there. Personally, I think Priscilla is a show that is more appreciated from the balcony! I even feel the sound was much better from that side of the balcony. And, I had NO ONE WITH BIG HAIR SITTING IN FRONT OF ME! I much prefer the balcony over any other seats in the theatre. That is always a personal choice I guess.

I sat second row of the mezz. Best seats I've had in a theatre, go for there.

We have seats in Row K center orchestra for Labor Day weekend. They weren't premium seating prices. I was shocked but elated that I could get those without paying through the nose. Is Row K going to be far enough back to get the appropriate perspective?

I sat halfway back on the left in the orchestra section, 4th seat in from the left aisle and saw everything. It was a great seat.

I was almost at the very top of the balcony when I saw Priscilla and I was pretty shocked at how good the view was. There were a few moments where I was VERY glad to be far away, though I'm sure there are moments where it'd be great to be close up as well. I will say, though, to echo what was said above that the first row balcony should be avoided, since you have to lean forward the entire time to see. And also, I sat first row mezz for Legally Blonde and had a fantastic view. If you have the option of sitting absolutely anywhere, I'd go for front mezz.

My seats in the Mezz. were perfect! I've heard a lot of people say that the stage is really high and it is best to avoid the first several rows of the orchestra.
BTW, for those that have seen it from the orchestra, how well can you see Felicia on the shoe?

^ Front row is horrible for that, but they are the lotto seats, so can't complain there.

Just an FYI for anyone in the mezz, the disco ball during the overture is damn near seizure inducing. You've been warned.

I sat 1/3 of the way back slightly on the side and the seats were great. I usually like to be up close, but for this show, I think I would have missed alot. The show is in such broad strokes you miss nothing by being a little ways back, and if you are too close, you miss the great staging.

I sat far back in the orchestra and was not a fan of the view. Although I didn't struggle to see most of the show, there were many moments where the view was cut off; for example, Nick Adams little dance number on the stiletto.

We ha e seen it three times. Once in the front row (we won the lottery), once in orch row J and orch row L.

Row J was fabulous :)

The front row was fun only after you have seen it before. So much is happening on stage you need to be back. The mezz overhangs so much that rear orch will cut off your view.

I say anything Row L and forward.

Enjoy - it was a blast

A friend was in Row U of the orchestra and missed nothing.

I'm going back on Saturday, and am very excited to see it from the mezz this time. Priscilla Seating at the Palace NY
