Since the popular Spider-man thought has been that the budget of that show could fund several other large productions, let's hear some opinions on revivals that you would fund.
Which musical is just begging for a big budget revival?
I'd die to see a big scale "City of Angels" revival on Broadway. I worship the cast album, but have never had the chance to see a production of it anywhere. The set design just seems to be calling for a rethought and big budget production. And the score hasn't aged a day since it was written- absolutely classic.

Crazy for You
I feel Broadway is ready to see a big, flashy musical with plenty of tapping (and the best of the Gershwin catalog) again. Though it didn't turn a profit (I believe, and mostly due to just a very high weekly operating budget) the revival of 42nd Street ran for almost a full four years, showing that when things in the country kind of suck audiences love lavish old-fashioned entertainment.

The Full Monty
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
