One that I wanted to see, although probably won't happen now:
Nunsense
Tyne Daly as Mother Superior Lillias White as Hubert Mary Testa as Robert Anne Sutton Foster as Leo Kristen Chenoweth as Amnesia
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Anthony Warlow^ as Sweeney Todd and Bernadette Peters as Mrs Lovett.
Donna Murphy as Rose.
^ Amended in 2012 to Mandy Patinkin.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
I'd love to see a revival of She Loves Me, especially with most of the cast I saw at the Huntington in 2008. Kate Baldwin was a divine Amalia.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Well, I've been wishing for a revival of HOW TO SUCCEED... for a while, and it looks like this season I get my wish! So I'm very excited for that.
I would also love to see a revival of THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG. Didn't Roundabout or another non-profit company do a reading of that show recently with Sherie Rene Scott and Norbert Leo Butz? I think I remember hearing that...love that cast!
MW08, yeah i would love a joseph revival. lots of really talented young male actors these days. aaron would be great...i would love jon groff personally, his voice is gorgeous. i know a lot of people have something against ALW, and i agree some of his shows aren't the greatest but joseph was the first musical i ever fell in love with (the donny osmund video version) and i never got to see it live. some day i hope so.
"There's a fine, fine line between love...and a waste of your time" (L).
Seth Rudetsky is AMAAAHHHZING!
A Very Potter Musical FTW!
I'm very hot to trot for a Crazy for You revival. I have a copy of the production that was filled at Papermill. I can't watch it without smiling. I'd love to experience that live.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
