I saw Frozen last night and wild behavior from kids would have been expected, but the atrocious behavior I witnessed was from a middle aged woman. She sat directly in front of me and was told not once, but 6 times by ushers to stop taking pictures. She was even removed temporarily during act I to delete the photos. It continued during act II and when she wasn't taking photos, she was checking texts and facebook. When I asked her to please put it away because it was distracting me, she rep
Were there any major technical glitches or stoppages last night? I usually hesitate to go early in previews for those reasons, but I'm looking to buy a resale ticket for tonight.
I decided to wait it out last night with Stubhub. Prices started dropping around 6:45 for an 8:00 show. I finally purchased a single ticket around 7:40. It was originally marked at $250 on Stubhub and I paid $125 with fees. It was second row orchestra and the face value was $189. Stubhub is a decent option if you can be in midtown about an hour before curtain.
I saw the Saturday night performances and it was my first real experience with the show. I can't help but think this piece must have inspired Ryan Murphy for AHS: Hotel. Lady Gaga's character reminds me so much of Norma and that eerie quality of the house as well. I would love to see Lady gaga play Norma Desmond in about 20 years.

EXACTLY!! And that's just one more reason to despise Giuliani! We'll take the hookers and porn palaces over the pedestrian plazas and Elmos and tourists moving at a glacial pace ANY day!

She discovered Laura Benanti so she's pissed that she decided to have a baby instead of treading the boards this season. She also discovered Manoel Felciano so she's mad that Darko kicked him out of Anastasia pre-Broadway.
I was giddy when Donna McKechnie and Baayork came on stage for Turkey Lurkey. I also loved the piece that Wicked performed with Sheryl Lee Ralph. Seth was entertaining and I particularly enjoyed the Evita references. The Jersey Boys mega cast was very entertaining and a fitting end to their run. I also liked what Fiddler was trying to do. The "where are they now" was an interesting concept, but it got a little muddled at the end. Also, what on earth was Paramour doing? Does anyone know what h
They had CDs for $30, mugs for $20, magnets for $10 and Christmas Ornaments. They also had short-sleeved T shirts in pink and black, long sleeved T shirts in black, and hoodies.
The Always On My Mind/Losing My Mind medley was probably my favorite moment of the show. It was interesting because it essentially told both sides of the story in a broken relationship: the one who was at fault and the one who was abandoned. The arrangement was so seamless you could've convinced me it was written that way if I didn't already know the songs.
