I'm 62 years old and have been going to the theare since I was in high school. I've been saving the Playills from every show I've seen and at last count, I had over 3,000 of them. Do you want me to start listing them now?

Let me just say that I saw Streisand in FUNNY GIRL, Mostel in FIDDLER, Barbara Cook in SHE LOVES ME, Bea Lillie in HIGH SPIRITS, Kiley in LA MANCHA, Bacall in APPLAUSE, Verdon in SWEET CHARITY, Caesar in LITTLE ME and Stritch in COMPANY.

Yeah, I've seen it all and my dear, I'm still here.

Dollypop, clearly you also saw Yvonne DeCarlo in Follies... Love your post.

And, oh, only Broadway musicals count. Don't quite know why people have listed their other theatrical experiences.

Don't quite know why people have listed their other theatrical experiences.

Because the West End is comparable to Broadway and I'm geographically disadvantaged. I'm more interested in why people have listed plays when the thread clearly calls for MUSICALS. ^_^

I suggest opening a thread on the West End message board asking members to list their West End musicals. I'd contribute, but I too would be geographically challenged.

The truth is, this really isn't a competition and those of us who see it as one - me included - have some "issues" to work through. I loved the "e-penis envy" comment.

I like Dollypop have thousands of Playbills, programs, etc. I thought this a fun exercise in figuring out how many unique Broadway musical productions I've seen. Foolishly, unlike several people here, I never kept a journal. More envy...
