"A Car Ride" from The Visit.

All know Anton's dreadful fate.

The many contrasts between Anton's "seeing it all for the very first time", wishing to slow down, and his nostalgic emotions vs. his family's cavalier cheeriness, and their pretentious use of French words and expressions...

...and the topper? When Anton says he wants to walk back to town to clear his head before the "meeting" where he is to be killed, his son asks, "Would you like us to come with you?". Anton replies, "No, it's alright, son" and his wife responds that since that's the case, they'll drive over to the next town to do some shopping.

Wicked Little Town (Reprise) hits the spot for me. Especially Stephen Trask’s haunting and less punk vocal in the film.

But my number one is from a rock opera concept album, not a stage musical: “Too Much, Too Little, Too Late” from “Spilt Milk” by Jellyfish.

Yep. The first time I saw the show I cried so hard at the line “I wish I had taken more pictures.” I literally started taking thousands of pictures the next day. I document everything since then.

As a current college student, this song is on my "existential crisis" playlist because the whole song, but especially this line literally makes me sob.
