Heartbreaking to say the least. I sent him a message on Facebook about performing with Lin-Manuel Miranda in front of Hamilton. He wrote me a nice note back.

do you think the Broadway league would dim the marquee lights for Kyle?

I hope that's the case, I can't imagine that cast going through with a show like Les Mis after that sort of news. Sending them all so much love and healing thoughts.
I just listened to his Bring Him Home. So perfect and powerful. He would had a phenomenal career on Broadway and beyond. What a horrible lost! RIP Kyle
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't see how that tweet implies anything of the sort. It is more likely many from the cast and crew are gathered there comforting each other.
How incredibly sad for all that love him.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Unfortunately, I don't think they would consider him "eligible," considering he's not a Broadway legend. However, maybe they'll use his history-making status to make it happen anyway.
The tweet you posted was time stamped 12:30 (ish). I would expect there would have been a press release posted here if the show had been cancelled. (Again, not saying they didn't, but I do think its unlikely.

And even if they were tweeting during the show it could have been during intermission.

My best friend saw him on her third trip to Les Mis last month. She's a diehard fan and she adored him. What a terrible, terrible thing to have a life cut short at the beginning of well began career. I hope they did the lights, though if they all don't, I can't imagine the Imperial not doing a tribute on their digital marquee.
The matinee was not cancelled. The cast has been tweeting during their time off stage and during intermission. They all seem stunned, to say the least.
If anyone is either at today's or tonight's show can you report back on the acting?

What a tragic loss. I had been wishing I could've been there to see his Val Jean after seeing the videos. I imagine Bring Him Home will not leave a dry eye in the company today. I can't imagine how Ramin Karimloo will make it through that song since the lyrics seem even more painful with this news--watching the video of Kyle singing it made me really tear up.
I just want to be one more of the many of us to express our deepest sadness. I was able to see him several times in his main roles as the constable and Courfeyrac. He stuck out with his rich voice and regal stage presence.
I am so so sorry for his family and friends, especially his mother, who raised a wonderful young man that many people will miss dearly. God bless you, Jean-Baptiste
