This makes me cry. Someone's doing something right when there are kids this young out there who not only love and appreciate theatre (especially theatre as esoteric and complex as Sunday in the Park), but can speak so insightfully and honestly about it.

Adorable. Reminds me of myself at that age. Thank god there are parents out there who expose their children to the arts early enough and promote insightful conversations about the things they've seen.

He should get his own website for his reviews The Only Review of Sunday in the Park You Have to See Ever I'd watch them.

Why is this poor child being taken to so many heavy shows? Are they trying to induce an existential crisis by the time he's 10?

He's adorable.

^Hey I was watching MOULIN ROUGE and CHICAGO when I was 8-9 years old and I loved them. (though I really don't like MOULIN ROUGE as I used to)

Heh, well CHICAGO is one thing. MOBY-DICK: THE OPERA is another thing altogether. :P (Although, according to his review, his uncle plays Captain Ahab, so I guess that one makes a bit more sense.)

That was more astute than anything Clive Barnes ever wrote!

^If Iain grows up to be a theatre critic, I think he'll be the best new critic of his generation.

He is my favorite. He could be a performer AND a critic.

Link below to an absolutely adorable local TV news interview with Iain. <3

(Slightly annoyed that he's ID'd as a "Young Movie Critic," though. There isn't a single mention of movies.)

So. Cute. Updated On: 8/26/14 at 10:19 AM
