The only through thread I've been able to discern is akinda "hint" of something wonderful in the way of the technique or method of filming that would transform the experience. It certainly seems that was how they persuaded the "name" performers to climb on boar
It honestly wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I was surprised how faithful it was to the stage version -- mostly because anyone who has seen the stage version knows that it wouldn't work as a film. And it doesn't. They kept most of the songs (even the boring ones like "Bustopher Jones" and "Moments of Happiness" that could have bee excised), and the basic plotlessness of the musical. They kept the Jellicle Ball, which I also never expected to see on the bi

The original version of YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN might work. The set is usually jut some colorful boxes and the only accompaniment is a piano. It’s a small cast, though. There is also an ANNIE JR. if you want to showcase a female lead.

If you can drive/bus down to Philly, Pennsylvania Ballet also does George Balanchine's Nutcracker and the tickets are a bit cheaper. New Jersey Ballet also has a good production down in Mil

I'm seeing this in a few weeks, so I'm glad to hear the good reports. BroadwayCom's Youtube Channel just posted this video of Keri-Rene Fuller performing "Memory." I still think they've been casting Grizabella too young lately, but she sounds absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to see her live:
