We as a team have decided to lock this thread because we think the conversation has run its course. As has been mentioned by other users - engaging with people you disagree with who have differing views from your own is one way people can learn and change.
That's why we left this thread up to begin with. We were hoping to allow our users to have this discussion - which is one that is happening prominently in our industry and others.
We've lately been having a bit of a discussion on the board on what can and cannot be said. Our users want more transparency on our end on why things are deleted.
While the opinions posted here absolutely do not necessarily reflect my views or the views of the site and our team - we have to respect the fact that our users are entitled to them.
If we were to censor all opinions we don't agree with as a site, that would be a slippery slo
I've brought this to the team and we're going to edit comments to note the rule violation as suggested above whenever possible. Thank you for the continued feedback.
A RECOMMENDATION FOR ALAN HENRY May 8

Just so it’s on the record, my Snapchat post is just a lighthearted “I’ve made it in showbiz” - in reference to the fact that having a thread made in your name is usually reserved for someone more significant than myself.
I assure you I’m not mocking anyone.
You’re welcome to check for yourself at “alanhenryto.”
Again - we hear you RE more transparency re deleted posts and will advise you when those occur. If you have specific questions as to why something was remove
Again - just to clarify: we're not here modifying and censoring discussion. We don't want to misrepresent what a user has said, etc - and avoid selectively pruning discussions except in cases of obvious troll behavior or a direct rule violation.
Sometimes - an entire topic is just in bad taste and goes against our rules and what we want the board to be - and a discussion forum about the behavior of a specific minor of no notoriety whatsoever
We appreciate the feedback. We've talked as a team and we'll be sure to DM you when something is deleted and let you know.
We do have a specific list of things that are not permitted. Sometimes things that we just can't anticipate occur and we use our best judgment. You'll note the thread we deleted yesterday clearly fell within the purview of our rules, not to mention, was about a minor.
We don't have the functionality to wipe a thread but leave the title. If I remove an entire thread it's because we've determined the bulk of the posts can't remain up. Again, I understand your point of view but I think we're very transparent in our reasoning for removing threads - if you have specific questions happy to answer those if you send me a DM or an email.
With that said, I cannot publicly post comments that have been removed or mention what they contain or allude to because obviously, those would be something we had to remove to begin with.
I try and alert users whenever one of their comments are removed. If you have a specific question, you can always shoot me a note.
If an entire thread is locked or deleted (like yesterday) it's because we've determined the
There were a number of against the rules comments in that thread.
We're going to lock this thread because I think we can all agree that this is not the forum to discuss the behavior of a child to this extent, which is different then say discussing the social media posts of a person on the spotlight.
I don't think there's anything else going on here.
Just a reminder we can't take copyright images from other sites and post them here. Any photos you see on BWW are fine, but nothing from other websites please and thanks!
Hi all - the SUMMER thread was removed entirely in error. Unforunately there's no way to restore a thread so posting a transcript of all the messages here. So sorry about that.

Again, the thread was totally against our rules and if you didn't see the sections that were it's because we spent the better part of the day removing comments that violate our terms.
Going to lock this thread now. Individual complaints and concerns are welcome via email to alan [at] broadwayworld [dot] com.
If you have an ad blocker enabled that could be it. Ad blockers work by removing certain codes and scripts from the page which can end up causing weird things to happen to affecting code unrelated to ads.
I'm afraid we can't support or troubleshoot w/ the ad blocker enabled.
Can you go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/ and send me back the URL it gives you either here or via email or DM? (alan at broadwayworld dot com) and I can look into this further.
LizzieCurry - I think that's on mobile yes? If so, nothing should have changed there. Lots of users reported issues with the HTML editor so HTML view on mobile is disabled.
That is the reason URLs pasted via mobile don't become clickable, etc.
