About the Theatre

The Cloverdale Playhouse is a community-based, volunteer-driven home for the performing arts center in Montgomery, Alabama, founded in 2009 as a 501c3 nonprofit.

The Playhouse is dedicated to presenting entertaining, challenging, and innovative theatrical productions, as well as Special Performances, a regular music series, and educational programs to enhance the cultural life of the city of Montgomery and the surrounding River Region.

The Playhouse provides a place for members of the community to work together to create magical, transformative experiences for their friends and neighbors.

We’re excited to be in our 14th season of carrying on Montgomery’s rich history of community theater, carrying on the traditions of the Montgomery Little Theater. We want to be on your list of things to do!

Join us.  Audition, take a class, volunteer, or just sit back and enjoy the show.
