Do you love theatre and have a passion for sharing it with others? Consider joining team BroadwayWorld as one of our local contributors!

BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Local Critics

Cade Lott

Cade Lott is a writer and educator based in Hoover, Alabama. As a regional contributor for BroadwayWorld Birmingham, he brings a passion for local theatre and a background in creative writing (MFA, SNHU) to his reviews. In his "day job," Cade is a Special Education Teacher currently pursuing his Ed.D. at Walden University. Follow his reviews for the latest on the Magic City’s stage scene.When he's not reviewing theatre, Cade enjoys hiking with his wife, Amy, and their two dogs, Suki and Boo.

Luke Richards

Luke Richards is based in Birmingham, Alabama and has experience both onstage and behind the scenes. He has worked as a stage manager and performer in a variety of productions across the greater Birmingham area. Outside of theatre, Luke enjoys nature, photography, and is involved in music and other performing arts.
