Travel back in time to the late 1930’s when the once popular Avondale Zoo has lost its luster and fallen into disrepair. With the Parks Board threatening to close and sell off the animals, the famed Miss Fancy - with the help of John Todd and Ricky Round - must devise a plan to save the zoo before it is too late. A world premiere play from playwright G. Riley Mills, “Miss Fancy: Elephant Queen of the Zoo” is equal parts history and legend. Filled with music, magic, comedy, dancing, and vaudeville to entertain audiences of all ages, “Miss Fancy” will have audiences’ toes tapping and imaginations shining!
