Written by Charles Busch, Psycho Beach Party is a camp comedy parody blending 1960s beach party films and psychological horror inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Set on the beaches of Malibu in the early 1960s, the play follows Chicklet Forrest, an awkward teenage girl with multiple personalities who tries to fit in with the local surf crowd, leading to a hilarious mystery of romance, mistaken identities, and outrageous revelations. The production is directed by artistic director Kimberli Rowley, with a cast including Jace Courrier, Brian Records, Emily Snyder, Andrew Watkins, Kiersten Gasemy, Lisa Podulka, Jennifer Hope, James Camacho, and Colin Dech as Chicklet Forrest.
