Momentum: A Mixed Bill at Ballet Theatre of Maryland

On February 21 and 22, Ballet Theatre of Maryland premieres six new works in Momentum: A Mixed Bill. This exciting performance features all world premieres by company members and guest choreographers. In Momentum, we foster new works from emerging choreographers while also leaving room for established creators to experiment. The result is bold, dynamic, and often ground-breaking. 

With many pieces created by current BTM company dancers, Momentum expands our repertory from the inside out. New works range from classical to contemporary, which stretches our dancers’ skills in new and inventive ways. From pointe shoes to bare feet, there isn’t another performance that showcases the versatility of our company like Momentum.
