A group of 1977 cab drivers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, fight to maintain their livelihood after they find out that the city wants to tear down their rundown jitney station for redevelopment. In this captivating dramedy, August Wilson shows economic struggles as well as conflict amongst family, lovers and friends as tensions rise and differences become more apparent.
