That's because the Academy Award winner and Emmy nominee will step into the role of Billy Flynn, beginning Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Broadway's Chicago. He reprises his role as Billy Flynn after originating the part and making his West End stage debut earlier this year in the new 2018 London production of Chicago, currently playing at The Phoenix Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company will conclude the world premiere of Skintight, by Joshua Harmon, with direction by Daniel Aukin on Sunday, August 26.At the time of closing, Skintight will have played 23 preview performances and 77 regular performances. Previews began on May 31, 2018 and opened officially on June 21, 2018 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company will soon present the world premiere of Bernhardt/Hamlet by Pulitzer finalist Theresa Rebeck, directed by Tony nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel, and starring Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe, Tony & Olivier Award winner Janet McTeer as 'Sarah Bernhardt.' Broadway veteran Daisy Hobbs just released a new web series- Outcast. A mix between Issa Rae's Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, Michaela Coel's Chewing Gum and  Rachel Bloom's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, OUTCAST takes you inside the world of struggling performer Lisa Bobbins, who dreams of one day being a Broadway star, but as of yet, receives more eye rolls than accolades. 

Eighth Grade, the first feature film from writer and director Bo Burnham, is one of the most talked about movies of the summer. With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 98% (as of August 9), the comedy-drama follows an eighth-grader (Elsie Fisher) who struggles to finish her last week of classes before embarking for high school.

While some of the most cherished Disney musicals (from Beauty and the Beast to The Little Mermaid) made a splash on the big screen before arriving on Broadway, others have forged their own paths into the hearts of audiences. Tonight, August 10 (8:00-9:45 p.m., EDT/PDT), Disney Theatrical Productions will celebrate its first stage-to-television collaboration with the Disney Channel in adapting its original stage musical Freaky Friday for a worldwide televised premiere.
