Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS comes to Rose Playhouse, Bankside, this summer, running from 5th to 30th July. This new production is presented by New York-based company Luvas Theatre and London's Time Zone Theatre in association with the Rose Playhouse. It will be directed by South Korean director Jung Han Kim, who trained with renowned The Living Theatre in New York, and will devise the play using original and new text, movement and sound. Part of Contemporary Shakespeare, a project that brings together artists from different countries to present Shakespeare's plays in London and New York City this summer.

Catalina Bar & Grill, 6725 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028 will present Broadway, film and television star Neile Adams in NEILE ADAMS SINGS KANDER & EBB, featuring popular show tunes from "Chicago," "The Rink," "Flora the Red Menace," "Kiss of the Spider Woman," "The Act," "Steel Pier," "Funny Lady" "Woman of the Year" and "The Happy Time." The show will be presented on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 8:30p.m.

One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful plays in recent years, PROOF, by American playwright David Auburn, will be presented on June 9-19 at The Alex Theatre in St Kilda, by Melbourne's newest theatre company Artefact, an independent production company committed to producing important and influential theatre. It will be directed by Emily O'Brien-Brown.

Following successful tours of Alan Ayckbourn's Absent Friends and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot in 2015, London Classic Theatre return to the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, with their new production of Harold Pinter's THE BIRTHDAY PARTY from Tues 14 to Sat 18 June. It's directed by Michael Cabot, with design by Bek Palmer and lighting by Andy Grange.

The full cast has been announced for Exposure The Musical - Life Through A Lens. It runs at St. James Theatre, for a limited season, from 16 July until 27 August 2016, with press night on Thursday 28 July 2016. 

The European premiere of Rex Pickett's acclaimed comedy SIDEWAYS opens tonight at St James Theatre, directed by David Grindley, for a limited run until July 9. The cast features Daniel Weyman (Miles), Simon Harrison (Jack), Ellie Piercy (Maya), Beth Cordingly (Terra), Anne Kavanagh(Phyllis/Evelyn), Kirsten Hazel Smith (Rosie/Victoria) and Daniel Barry (Chris/Daryl).

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the arrival of the Hamptons' newest diva, with the world premiere of THE FORGOTTEN WOMAN, a new play by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Noah Himmelstein. The production starts tomorrow, May 31, and runs through June 19. There is a 'Pay What You Can' performance on May 31 with a limited amount of tickets available at the Box Office starting at 11 am that are based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accidental Pictures is proud to introduce an online poetry miniseries entitled THE PRIDE PROJECT. They release seven poems every Monday for seven consecutive weeks through June 27th, 2016 on Facebook and YouTube. These poems, written by Timothy Ware (Broadway's KINKY BOOTS), are performed by 10 American actors of African, Latin, Asian, and European descent. Can any woman really 'have it all?' Gina Gionfriddo's comedy RAPTURE, BLISTER, BURN features two women, Cathy and Gwen, who took different paths after college and are asking the same question. While Cathy (Shakespeare Tavern's Laura Cole) built a career as a 'rock star academic,' Gwen (Jill Hames Graham) built a home with her husband and children. Decades later, when Cathy returns home, Cathy and Gwen realize the depth of their unfulfillments and so begin a risky game of musical chairs as each tries to claim the other's territory.

Arts Centre Melbourne's inaugural Arts Club Winter Gala will be held this month to help provide access to the arts for children and community groups disadvantaged by distance or circumstance. The June 1 event has been organised by The Arts Club, a membership group of budding philanthropists formed in 2014 to advocate for support and investment into one of Australia's most important cultural institutions.

A contemporary work from 'the most adventurous downtown playwright of her generation', according to The New York Times, STRAIGHT WHITE MEN written by Young Jean Lee, will have its South Australian premiere in this brand new production in collaboration with Brisbane's La Boite Theatre Company.

On 22 July, the 2016 winner of the $100,000 Basil Sellers Art Prize will be announced and the exhibition showcasing the finalists' work will open to the public. Seventeen finalists (including two collaborative pairs) have been selected for the fifth and final Basil Sellers Art Prize, to be presented at the Ian Potter Museum of Art in July.

The Azrieli Music Project (AMP) is proud to announce that composer Wlad Marhulets is the winner of the inaugural Azrieli Prize in Jewish Music for his Klezmer Clarinet Concerto. Marhulets, who submitted a completed orchestral work on a Jewish theme or subject – along with applicants from around the world – has been granted the second of two $50,000 prizes, which were offered for the first time by the Azrieli Foundation.
