Just last night, Broadway's biggest voices took to the 54 Below stage to sing the iconic rock hits of Grammy-award winning composer Jim Steinman. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012, Steinman has sold more than 190 million records as the composer and lyricist behind such hit songs as 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now,' 'I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That),' 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light, ' and 'Holding Out For A Hero.' In 1983, he became the only artist in music history to have written and produced the simultaneous #1 and #2 song on the Billboard charts when 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' and 'Making Love Out Of Nothing At All' held the top two spots on the Hot 100 for three weeks.

Four time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming just made her Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills, two-time Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Jerry O'Connell, Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson in Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. Point Foundation (Point) just honored actor Jonathan Groff, with the Point HORIZON Award. The Award recognizes a young trailblazer who has taken a leadership role as an advocate of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. Groff, currently starring in HBO's critically acclaimed series 'Looking' and appearing in the Public Theater's hit musical 'Hamilton,' was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in 'Spring Awakening.' As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of On the Twentieth Century now technically opens on Sunday, March 15, 2015, as a result of Peter Gallagher missing a week of performances due to a sinus infection.
