Ahead of the release of his debut album Before You Begin next  month, Sequoyah Murray has shared the otherworldly video for new single 'Blue Jays'. Written as an attempt to capture an 'abstract sense of beauty', as he puts it, Murray's alluring baritone glides over sub-zero synthesisers, before the track erupts into hypnotic polyrhythms. Directed by close friend and filmmaker Lev Omelchenko and performed by Sequoyah and his younger brother, the video for the track tells the story of a winged figure who appears to a young boy in a dream and then again in reality, awakening the dancer within. 

RETRO REPORT on PBS, a new one-hour magazine format series hosted by journalist Celeste Headlee and artist Masud Olufani and featuring New Yorker humorist Andy Borowitz, premieres Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET (check local listings) on PBS, pbs.org and the PBS App. Presented by Georgia Public Broadcasting and produced by Retro Report, a non-profit organization whose mission is to arm the public with a complete picture of today's most important stories, the series offers viewers a fresh perspective on current headlines, revealing their unknown — and often surprising — connections to the past. The series continues Mondays and Tuesday nights, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET through Tuesday, October 29. 

With the fourth season of Good Bones attracting more than 16.9 million total viewers, HGTV has picked up 13 fresh episodes of the hit series starring mother/daughter home renovation duo Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E Laine. At the end of season four, Good Bones ranked as a top 5 cable program among upscale P25-54 and upscale W25-54 in the Tuesday 9-10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot and also was a top 10 cable program among P25-54 and W25-54 in the timeslot. The new episodes are slated to premiere in summer 2020.

Increasing the degree of both comedy and complexity, Disney Channel will present 'Just Roll With It: You Decide LIVE!,' an interactive, live telecast of 'Just Roll With It,' a series which stands apart for its blend of scripted and improvisational comedy, on FRIDAY, OCT. 4 (9:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. PDT). During the Halloween-themed special—the first of its kind for the channel—viewers nationwide can join the studio audience in the fun of determining plot twists in real-time. HBO has renewed the sketch comedy series A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW for a second season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

 Comedy Central today ordered a 10-episode second season of hit series South Side, the aspirational, scripted comedy set in and around the working class neighborhood of Englewood on the South Side of Chicago.

As previously announced, the network is developing a limited series in 2021 inspired by the bestselling book to commemorate and honor the 20th anniversary of the events of September 11. The series will be produced by Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment, and executive produced by Erwin Stoff and Richard Abate of 3 Arts as well as Mitchell Zuckoff. Boal will also executive produce. 

Major League Soccer's championship match will return to ABC for the first time since 2008 when ESPN presents the 2019 MLS Cup on SUNDAY, NOV. 10 (3:00-5:30 p.m. EST), on ABC. The match will also be streamed live on both the ESPN and ABC apps. 

Director Todd Phillips “Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips' exploration of Arthur Fleck, who is indelibly portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, is of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham's fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night…but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study.
