The road is no stranger to Canadian country singer Zachary Lucky. He's used to rolling through hundreds of tour dates a year, sleeping in the back of his car, and playing his heart out in every town he moves through. He's learned to trust the road, and to trust the gifts it brings. It's a lesson he learned first from his grandfather, famed Canadian western singer Smilin' Johnnie Lucky, who was known for relentlessly touring the Arctic regions of the country. In his youth, Zachary Lucky felt free on the road, driving from one town to the next and never staying long. “I never felt the need to come home” he says, “because there was never anything waiting for me there.” Ten years later, he's got a new outlook on his life and a family waiting for him at home in Ontario. The songs on his new album Midwestern, coming October 18, 2019, grapple with fatherhood, the passage of time, and whether his daughters will grow up knowing the Canadian prairies he still loves.

Acclaimed 'trance-fusion' act The Disco Biscuits have announced today that they will be hitting the road this winter for a 23-date tour kicking off on November 14 in McKees Rocks, PA and ending in Silver Spring, MD on January 18. The run includes four consecutive nights at New York City's PlayStation Theater for New Year's Eve, which not only marks the band's 40th appearance there but also marks the final set of shows before the acclaimed Times Square venue closes its doors. In conjunction with today's announcement, the band also shared that new music is coming soon early next year with a new album slated for summer 2020. A spinoff of Nick's animated hit The Loud House, The Casagrandes tells the story of 11-year-old Ronnie Anne who moves to the city with her mom and older brother to live with their big, loving family, the Casagrandes. ABC News' “World News Tonight with David Muir” stood as the evening's No. 1 newscast in Total Viewers (8.499 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.139 million) for the 7th consecutive week during the week of Aug. 26, 2019, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “World News Tonight” outperformed “NBC Nightly News” (7.442 million and 1.068 million, respectively) by 1.057 million Total Viewers and by 71,000 Adults 18-49. “World News Tonight” widened its Total Viewer lead from the previous week by 24% (vs. 855,000 for w/o 8/19/19) and substantially increased its lead year-to-year by 484%(vs. 181,000 for w/o 8/27/18), to win for the 48th time in the 49 weeks of the season.
