L'chaim! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF just opened last night, December 20, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway), wrapping up the 2015 Broadway season. BroadwayWorld's Richard Richard Ridge caught up with starry audience members Annaleigh Ashford, Bernadette Peters, Joel Grey and more as they arrived for the big night, and you can hear what they had to say about the classic musical below!

To mark the occasion of Jefferson Mays' 6,000th death in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the production held a funeral procession down West 48th Street, as cast members and fans, all dressed in mourning attire, followed Mr. Mays, lying in state inside a glass-sided horse-drawn hearse, to the Walter Kerr Theatre stage door. HAMILTON, the story of 'the ten-dollar Founding Father without a father,' is currently in previews and opens Thursday night at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.).

The cast of new musical DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, which opened on April 21st and closed on May 10th, 2015 at the Broadway Theatre, hit the recording studio this spring to prepare for the release of the show's original cast recording, out via Broadway Records today, July 31st. Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander recently assumed the role of 'Norman Drexel' in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Alexander steps into the role created by David in the comedy about a death in the family.
