The upcoming Broadway production of the sold-out West End production of David Hare's Skylight, directed by Stephen Daldry, winner of the 2014 London Evening Standard Award for Revival of the Year, is set to begin performances Friday, March 13 at the John Golden Theatre. The production, which will star Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy, and feature Matthew Beard, all recreating their acclaimed London performances, opens Thursday, April 2 for a strictly limited 13-week engagement. The company met the press yesterday, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was on hand to chat with the cast and creative team!

This fifth episode, directed by Robbie Rozelle, features GIANT's Katie Thompson singing 'Anything Worth Holding On To' from Alan's album 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up'.

BroadwayWorld confirmed earlier today that Hamilton will be heading uptown next season! Lin-Manuel Miranda's newest musical, which opened to rave reviews last week, will arrive on Broadway this summer at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The show will start previews on July 13th and will open on August 6th. The Shapiro Sisters' debut album LIVE OUT LOUD: LIVE AT 54 BELOW will be released on September 9th, 2014. The Shapiro Sisters, 11-year old Milly Shapiro (Matilda, Original Broadway Cast of Matilda The Musical) and older sister, 14-year-old Abigail Shapiro (Cindy Lou Who, How The Grinch Stole Christmas), recorded the album live at the famed 54 BELOW over a series of three performances this past May and June. The Shapiro Sisters will be returning to 54 BELOW this Thursday, August 28th at 7:00 PM for an encore performance to celebrate the launch of their new CD. Today, 14 July 2014, 12-year-old Ollie Jochim from Chelmsford, Essex gives his first performance in the title role of the internationally award winning Billy Elliot the Musical. Ollie joins a cast lead by Ruthie Henshall who plays Mrs Wilkinson, Billy's dance teacher, and becomes the thirty-eighth boy to perform the iconic role at the Victoria Palace Theatre and the seventy-fifth boy to perform the role world-wide.
