Max McLean, star of THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS at NYC's Westside Theatre, joined WOR Radio's John Gambling and Dr. Joy Browne in raising funds for the Salvation Army and the New York Food Bank in Rockefeller Center on December 2. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly witty theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will close Jan. 9 after a successful nine-month run at the Westside Theatre, 407 West 43rd Street nearly 300 performances including previews. The production is scheduled for a multi-city tour in 2011 starring Max McLean beginning Jan. 15 at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California Los Angeles; Jan. 29 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, California; Feb. 12 at the Arlene Schnitzer Hall in Portland, Oregon; Feb. 26 at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington; March 19 at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continued his multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, 'Broadway Talks,' with Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Stritch on December 6. Roth and Stritch discussed her current role in A Little Night Music, among other topics of her legendary career, at 92nd Street Y 1395 Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street.

Chaps! A Jingle Jangle Christmas at Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF. It's 1944, years into World War II, and the heyday of singing cowboys on radio and the silver screen. Allied troops from around the world are anxiously awaiting the live, in-studio BBC broadcast of radio and film star Tex Riley and his Radio Roundup. When Tex and his fellow cowboys get lost in London minutes before airtime, the motley BBC crew suddenly find themselves in the 'trenches.' Out of desperation, Mabel, their tour manager, and Miles, the frantic young producer, grab anyone - a snobby announcer, an amiable sound man, a passing soap opera actor - slap them into costume, hand them scripts and shove them in front of the studio audience. The resulting performance is one that England will never forget! Chaps! A Jingle Jangle Christmas features many famous cowboy tunes including, 'Tumblin' Tumbleweeds, ' 'Cool Water,' 'Gunslinger,' and 'Ride, Cowboy, Ride'.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2010-2011 season with Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? directed by Pam MacKinnon. The production features ensemble members Tracy Letts and Amy Morton with Carrie Coon and Madison Dirks. Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? plays December 2, 2010 -13, 2011 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St. The press performances are Saturday, December 11 at 3 pm and Tuesday, December 14 at 7:30 pm.

On December 4, in Santa Fe at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center Kaye Ballard, Donna McKechnie and Liliane Montevecchi were greeted by an 'SRO' crowd in a one-night-only gala performance 'From Broadway with Love'. The Broadway performance benefited Animal Protection of New Mexico, a non-profit organization that has been challenging historic and widespreal cruelty in New Mexico for more than 30 years.

The Sherman Playhouse is proud to announce its inaugural Holiday Season production, the classic and heartwarming Holiday tale A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES, adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell and based on the short story by Dylan Thomas. The play opens December 3 for a four-week run.

Beck Center for the Arts proudly continues its holiday tradition of fine family entertainment with its production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, on the Mackey Main Stage, December 3, 2010 through January 2, 2011.
