The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson), Producer Mark Russell and The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP President and CEO Sandra Gibson) present UNDER THE RADAR 2011, running January 5-16 at The Public Theater as well as at partner venues around the city. This highly-anticipated 12-day festival is committed to tracking new theater from across the U.S. and around the world and, this year, will feature shows from 11 counties including Chile, Italy, Belgium, and Mali. Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) presents the World Premiere of A SMALL FIRE, a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (The Drunken City at PH, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows). Directed by Trip Cullman (Adam Bock's The Drunken City at PH and Swimming in the Shallows, plus Bachelorette, Some Men, The Last Sunday in June, the upcoming Edgewise), the production opens January 6 at 7PM. The limited engagement will play through Sunday, January 23 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

The show is directed, choreographed and conceived by Austin McCormick, with a script adapted and written by Jeff Takacs. Nutcracker Rouge runs from December 10, 2010 to January 9, 2011 in a limited engagement at Company XIV's theatre space, located at 303 Bond Street, between Union & Sackett in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Company XIV is donating 50% of the show's proceeds to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.
