La Jolla Playhouse has just released costume sketches by Jennifer Caprio for the upcoming world-premiere musical Little Miss Sunshine. The musical features Tony Award-winning creative team of composer/lyricist William Finn and playwright/director James Lapine. Below are two of the costumes for 'Olive Hoover.'

San Diego actress Alice Ripley, who received the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Next to Normal, reprises her acclaimed performance in the musical's 36-week North American tour. It will play January 18 - 23, 2011 at the Balboa Theatre, as a Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation.

Virginia Stage Company presents Grammy Award winner Bruce Hornsby's musical, entitled SCKBSTD will feature Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli ad will be directed by Tony winner John Rando. The production is set to take place January 18 through February 6, 2011.
