Christmas Jukebox originally played at the Copperstate Dinner Theater and was named 2009 Best Original Production of the Year by the AriZoni Awards. In this one-of-a-kind Holiday Musical, audience members who arrive at least 15 minutes before curtain, are invited to select their favorites from our giant jukebox of over 100 of the greatest holiday songs ever written. The choices are tallied and a brand-new, world-premier holiday revue, created by the audience, is brought to life before their very eyes by our talented and versatile cast. Each show is as unique and as different as the audience that created it!

Today, Berkeley Repertory Theatre will present a revival of The Arabian Nights. This hit show from Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman returns for 24 performances only - from December 11 through December 30. Following an exclusive pre-sale period for subscribers and donors, Berkeley Rep has now put seats on sale to the public. A co-production with Arena Stage, The Arabian Nights will travel to Washington, DC in 2011.

This holiday season, Berkeley Repertory Theatre presents a deliciously silly world premiere from beloved Bay Area artists: Lemony Snicket's The Composer is Dead begins previews in the Roda Theatre on November 26, opens December 2, and closes January 15. The show features text by bestselling author Lemony Snicket and a score by living composer Nathaniel Stookey. It was conceived for the stage by Lemony Snicket, Phantom Limb Jessica Grindstaff and Erik Sanko, co-artistic directors, Tony Taccone, and Geoff Hoyle.

The Broadway performance will benefit Animal Protection of New Mexico, a non-profit organization that has been challenging historic and widespread animal cruelty in New Mexico for more than 30 years. Hilary Knight, internationally renowned illustrator, will design the art for the event.

Postponed last year due to the October 23 arson, this world premiere features the original cast, joined by Stephen Grenley, and is directed by Taproot Producing Artistic Director Scott Nolte. A celebratory reception with the cast, crew, patrons and staff immediately follows the performance.

Neo-Baroque dance-theatre group Company XIV proudly presents the World Premiere of Nutcracker Rouge, a Baroque - Burlesque confection of dance, theatre and sumptuous design. The show is directed, choreographed and conceived by Austin McCormick, with a script adapted and written by Jeff Takacs. Nutcracker Rouge runs from December 10, 2010 to January 9, 2011 in a limited engagement at Company XIV's theatre space, located at 303 Bond Street, between Union & Sackett in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Previews begin December 10 for a December 12 opening. Company XIV is donating 50% of the show's proceeds to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.
