Austin Playhouse Producing Artistic Director, Lara Toner Haddock, sits down with Marc for an intimate evening of behind-the-scenes stories and songs from productions he and his wife Carolyn have co-produced, brought to life by some of Austin's favorite artists! An intimate look at the highs and lows of bringing Broadway shows to life!

What is the history of Austin Playhouse ?
Austin Playhouse is a professional regional theatre, founded in August of 2000. Over fifty of Austin's leading theatre artists, administrators, and volunteers who had worked with Producing Artistic Director Don Toner to build Austin’s State Theatre Company into one of the city’s leading arts organizations, joined him in creating this new professional theatre for Austin. On November 27, 2000 Austin Playhouse was granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.
