Serenbe Playhouse to Present THE SLEEPY HOLLOW EXPERIENCE, 10/10-31

Show dates and times for The Sleepy Hollow experience are October 10th through the 31st, every Thursday through Sunday evening at 8 pm. All tickets are $20, with tickets for the Halloween Monster Mash being $50 (which includes admission to the production that evening.) Guests wishing to attend only the Monster Mash party can purchase tickets for $40, with an event start time of 9:30 pm.

Dad's Garage Theatre Company is extending its musical apocalypse for two more weeks, it was announced today The company is holed up at 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points and aren't coming out until all of the zombies are gone - or through October 12th, whichever comes first.

The world comes to a small Southern town in Horizon Theatre Company's World Premiere of Third Country by Suehyla El-Attar. The play, directed by Horizon Co-Artistic Director Lisa Adler, is inspired by the Clarkston, Georgia community where thousands of refugees have been resettled over the last decade. In addition to the production, Horizon is partnering with more than 20 local organizations to bring this story to life through post-show discussions, opportunities to meet the people who inspired the play, special events, and a marketplace for refugee-made goods.
Alliance Theatre Stages CHOIR BOY, Now thru 10/13

The Alliance Theatre has announced the American premiere of CHOIR BOY, a modern coming of age story by Tarell Alvin McCraney, winner of the 2008 Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition for his play In The Red and Brown Water. The American premiere of CHOIR BOY is co-produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York, where CHOIR BOY opened earlier this month to outstanding reviews. The New York production has been extended twice due to popular demand and will close August 11. CHOIR BOY will run on the Hertz Stage at the Alliance Theatre September 20 - October 13, 2013. Opening night is Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

Aurora Theatre continues the Brand Signature Series with the Star Wars-themed comedy, All Childish Thingsrunning October 3-27, 2013. In his mom's basement in Cincinnati, Dave and his friends are plotting a caper that will deliver them from the Darth Vader-like clutches of life's dark side. As die-hard Star Wars enthusiasts, Dave's plan involves stealing a stash of coveted collectibles. Against Jabba-sized odds, their plan is so crazy, it just might work. This new comedy is more fun than a barrel of Wookies. The play is written by Joseph Zettelmaier, a Michigan-based playwright and four-time nominee for the Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association Award for best new play including All Childish Things.

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced nominations for the 2012- 2013 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening to theatre patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by 7 Stages in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta. Guests enjoyed drinks, hors d'oeuvres and mingling with their colleagues and admirers. Guest announcers and former Suzi winners Ingrid Cole and Glenn Rainey revealed Nominees and quipped about the past season.

Following the release of his best selling new album, Blurred Lines, recording artist Robin Thicke has announced details of his highly anticipated Spring 2014 North American tour. The artist will be joined by special guests Jessie J and DJ Cassidy on all dates making this the hottest concert package of the spring.
