Audiences will get a chance to meet the lineup for the 2014 festival at the Welcome to the Hive party, featuring 10 eclectic performances going on simultaneously in a live art gallery, all throughout the Big House on Ponce. This immersive experience will allow audiences to explore the different performances on their own, while enjoying delicious food and alcohol from the Fringe's generous sponsors. Peek into one room and stumble into another, drink in hand, while exploring this majestic Masonic-temple-turned-event space! Actor's Express and Artistic Director Freddie Ashley have announced Maple and Vine, by Jordan Harrison, directed by Kate Warner. The production opens Saturday night, March 22, 2014, 8pm curtain, preview performances are March 20 and 21, and the ever-popular pay-what-you-want sneak peek, 'Director's Rough Cut', is Wednesday, March 19. Atlanta's own Kate Donadio leads the cast as Katha, and Michael Sung-Ho, in Atlanta from Minneapolis for this engagement, is opposite Kate as Katha's husband, Ryu (Ree-oo). Complete cast list below. Scott Fitzgerald's classic 1920's Jazz Age epic has been adapted for the stage, and is the next installment in GET's record-setting season. Directed by founding company member Tess Malis Kincaid, the show runs today, February 27 through March 16, 2014, at the Theatre's home, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA. The Off Broadway Kids Musical Theatre Troupe won top honors at the National Performing Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. The troupe won Superior Rating and won the Showcase Award for their production of "Once on This Island Jr." for the overall competition.
