Actor's Express, Atlanta's cutting-edge theatre located in West Midtown, has announced its 27th season of gripping programming. Next season's lineup is full of compelling theatre, as Actor's Express is famous for delivering. The season is a mix of classic and contemporary work, and innovative and fresh new voices. The slate: Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Murder Ballad, Bad Jews, Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet, and The Whale. The company will also produce The Rocky Horror Show this summer, marking the return of summer programming to the Express.

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures- NALAC announced today the names of the participants for their 14th Annual NALAC Leadership Institute that will take place July 14-19, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. The Leadership Institute convenes Latino arts leaders for an intensive, one-week training in nonprofit arts management and leadership development. Anthony Rodriguez is one of the twenty-eight participants that will be part of the 2014 NALAC Leadership Institute.

A packed theatre of patrons at last night's opening performance of Camelot was treated to the announcement of Georgia Ensemble Theatre's (GET's) 2014-2015 Season lineup of plays which is filled with musical favorites, powerhouse drama, comedy and a world premiere. Artistic Director Robert J. Farley proudly stood before the crowd for the presentation of plays that are sure to thrill patrons new and old. North Fulton's only professional theatre company is the artistic home to more than 2500 subscribers, as well as dedicated individual ticket buyers who frequent the Roswell-based company throughout the year with its extensive mainstage, theatre for youth, education, and outreach programming. Farley says about the season unveiling, 'I am so very excited about the public announcement of Georgia Ensemble Theatre's 22nd season of professional theatre. These stories represent such great depth, and the talent of the writing that we'll be bringing to the stage beginning in September is astounding. THE LION KING Tour Begins Performances Tomorrow in Atlanta

The Atlanta return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tomorrow, Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre for a limited three-week engagement through Sunday, April 27. In Atlanta, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. as well as matinees on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. A special weekday matinee will take place on Thursday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. "While sales have exceeded our expectations, tickets can still be purchased and patrons are encouraged to contact the Fox Theatre Box Office to inquire about the best availability," said Russ Belin, Vice President of Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta.
