Wicked Tour Extends Toronto Engagement to Dec. 31

The Wicked tour will be performing at the Canon Theatre in Toronto longer than originally planned.
The smash musical, originally slated for a Toronto engagement through November 26th, will run through December 31st. It began at the Canon on October 6th.
The Wicked tour currently stars Shoshana Bean/> as Elphaba, Megan Hilty/> as Glinda, Alma Cuervo/> as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as the Wizard, Cliffton Hall as Fiyero, K. Todd Freeman as Dr. Dillamond, Josh Lamon/> as Boq, and Jennifer Waldman/> as Nessarose.
Wicked has been sold out at virtually every performance on Broadway, since having its official opening at the Gershwin Theatre on October 30, 2003.
Based on the novel by />/>/>Gregory Maguire/>, the show has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz/> and a book by Winnie Holzman. Directed by />/>/>Joe Mantello/>, with musical staging by />/>/>Wayne Cilento/>, Wicked is also currently being presented on Broadway, on a national tour, and in a separate, open-ended engagement at Chicago's Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre.
