Dwayne Johnson formerly known as professional wrestler The Rock stopped by this week's TODAY to talk about his new action thriller, "San Andreas." Watch the appearance below!

Warner Bros' upcoming earthquake disaster flick SAN ANDREAS, starring Dwayne Johnson, will hit theaters on May 29, 2015.

The film "is set after a devastating earthquake hits California and centers on a man making a perilous trip across the state to rescue his estranged daughter. Johnson will play that man, described as a rugged rescue helicopter pilot."

Directed by Brad Peyton (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island), San Andreas also stars Carla Gugino, Kylie Minogue, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt and Art Parkinson.
